RRB NTPC 2024 - Notification (Out), Application Form (Released), Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

About RRB:

RRB(Railway Recruitment Board) is an manages the recruitment process of various positions within the Indian Railways. It's one of the largest employers in the world, and RRB conduct examinations for  colorful specialized andnon-technical positions across different departments.

RRB Recruitment Categories:

RRB recruits for a variety of posts in both Group C and Group D  orders, as well as technical and specialized positions.

1. Group A Posts:
• Conducted through the Union Public Service Commission( UPSC) Civil Services and Engineering Services Examinations. 
• exemplifications Indian Railway Traffic Service( IRTS), Indian Railway Accounts Service( IRAS), Indian Railway Service of masterminds( IRSE).
2. Group B Posts:
• These are promotional posts for Group C employees.
3. Group C Posts:
• Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC): Clerks, Goods Guards, Station Masters, Ticket Collectors, etc.
• Technical Posts: Junior Engineers, Depot Material Superintendents, etc.
• Exam Pattern: Typically involves a written test followed by an interview or skill test.
4. Group D Posts:
• Includes Track Maintainers, Helpers, Porters, and other labor-intensive roles.
• Eligibility: These positions usually require minimum education (like 10th pass), and the exam process may include a written test followed by a physical efficiency test (PET).

Group C Post NTPC Notification 2024:

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released RRB NTPC Notification 2024 for Railway Non-Technical Popular (NTPC) categories 20th September 2024. This is a very good opportunity for the people who want to work in Railways.

Non-Technical Popular Categories:

● Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk 

● Accounts Clerk Cum Typist 

● Trains Clerk 

● Junior Clerk Cum Typist

Exam Pattern: Includes Preliminary and Main stages, followed by a skill test (if applicable) and document verification.

IMPORTANT DATES :

Opening of online registration of Applications - 21.09.2024

Closing of online registration of Applications - 20.10.2024 

Date for fees payment after closing date - 21.10.2024 to 22.10.2024 

Date for Modification window for corrections in 

application form with payment of modification fee - 23.10.2024 to 01.11.2024

Age Limit:

Under Graduate Posts with Minimum Educational Qualification of 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination and Age between 18 to 33* Years (with 3 years relaxation as per detail in CEN) as on 01.01.2025.

No age relaxation is allowed to SC ST/ OBC- NCL( Non- Creamy Subcaste)  campaigners applying against unreserved  vacuities

EXAMINATION FEE

Exam fess is Rs.500 an amount of Rs.400 will be refunded after deducting bank charges, on apperaing in 1st stage CBT.Except the fees concession categories. For all candidates we have to pay exam fees.

SC/ST/Minority communities / Economically Backward Class / PWD / Female / Transgender /Ex-serviceman candidates Fees amount is Rs.250 shall be refunded after deducting bank charges.

Payment Mode:

ONLINE figure payment through internet banking or  disbenefit/ credit cards or UPI'll be accepted. All applicable service charges will be done by the  seeker.   figure  quantum can be paid only through ONLINE mode. No other option or mode of payment will be not allowed.   operation without payment will be rejected

·         campaigners WAITING FOR FINAL RESULTS OF specified EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION SHOULD NOT APPLY  

·        campaigners are advised to read the instructions precisely before applying:

Candidates should have their own mobile number and email id and have to maintain the number and email id up to completion the RRB exam. Because RRB will send messages in the same mobile number and email id and will not entertain any request of changes in the mobile number and email id.

Application will be submitted only through the RRB website in Online mode. Candidates can apply to only one RRB Application. Any attempt to submit more than one application by a candidate against this will result in disqualification and debarment.

Create an Account and if already have an account the candidate should use the same user name and password to apply. If there is no account previously they have to create an account have to fill all the details before proceeding the application. Details filled in the ‘Create an Account’ form can not be modified at any stage after the account is created

Selection Procedure :

·         1^st  Stage Computer Based Test

·         2^nd Stage Computer Based Test

·         Skill Test

There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

NORMALISATION OF MARKS: 

Candidates will be short list for various stages will be based on the normalization of marks obtained by them whenever CBT is conducted in multiple sessions for the same syllabus.

How to Apply:

Submission of application will be done only by ONLINE in RRB website. And only one application is allowed to submit to the selected RRB for all its notified posts.
